Ensemble du Jour: Vintage Two-Piece

vintage pants suit

I have been hitting up thrift stores, antique galleries and estate sales since before I started driving (thanks in large part to my grandmother, who would drag me to these things long before I actually wanted to go). So over the years, I’ve amassed a collection of some pretty spectacular things. Sometimes, these items come with a nice label attached (Chanel, Goyard, etc.) but other times, these are just really great items that are too interesting to pass up. Case in point: this awesome two-piece. The palazzo pants are awesome on their own (I’m envisioning them with a red crop top come spring) and the shirt pairs well with jeans. But when worn together, they take on an entirely new light. Here, I tied the top up so that it showed off the high waist of the pants, and wore it with my favorite hat for a look that might be more Spring than Fall. But hey, it’s Florida.

    • Thanks! Yes, in Florida, we can wear sandals pretty much year-round. (a blessing and a curse, because I’d like to wear boots occasionally!)
