Ensemble du Jour: Style on a budget

It’s no secret that I love a good deal. I personally love antique and thrift shopping and have long been a fan of any type of outlet. To me, it’s all about the hunt. There’s nothing better than digging through piles of ordinary to find that one piece of extraordinary. On our way out of Orlando over Labor Day weekend, we stopped at an exit for some coffee and decided to pop in to a TJ Maxx. We both came away with some goodies – I got a great, basic black tee from James Perse for $15, an Ella Moss lace top for $3 (yes, $3) and this amazing silk Vince blouse which wasn’t exactly a bargain, but it was certainly less expensive than full-price Vince. I’ve already worn the top three times since I’ve gotten it. It’s perfect for work and is easy to pair with jeans, as well.

I’m wearing a silk Vince top (from TJ Maxx), Current/ Elliott jeans (from Model Citizen), Miu Miu platforms (from Emly Benham), an old Balenciaga handbag (also from Emly Benham) and vintage earrings.
